CALCULATION REGISTER · VERSION 1.0
Know what a result means.
Geometry, engineering estimates, manufacturer specifications and measured site data are different kinds of evidence. We keep their boundaries visible.
Before using a result
Enter specifications for the actual operating mode and measurement conditions. Enter a source reference with each tool. Blank inputs do not mean zero. A value labelled Estimate is a model output, not a field measurement or compliance certificate.
Project files and PDFs are generated on your device. Saving locally is optional. The professional review button opens an email draft; you must attach the report and send it yourself.
Display & sightlines
Image geometry and ray intersection. AVIXA V202.01:2026 BDM/ADM sizing is unavailable pending verified official methods.
Open display toolLED wall & electrical load
Integer cabinet geometry; manufacturer matrices; real-power AC equations. Electrical design requires qualified verification.
Open led wall toolProjection & contrast
Throw geometry and a simplified diffuse-screen photometric model. Not an AVIXA contrast measurement certificate.
Use only for suitable screens. Flux must include verified mode and optical losses. Workplane values are not screen illuminance and never feed the contrast calculation.
Open projector toolCamera field of view
Pinhole frustum and coordinate transforms; not lens distortion or manufacturer tracking simulation.
Open camera toolSpeaker coverage & SPL
Free-field point-source estimate. Predictive results are not AVIXA A102 on-site uniformity or A104 dynamic-range verification.
No reflections, power compression or coherent interference are simulated. Signal and noise use the same weighting and frequency band. Match peak/continuous and measurement conditions before comparing. Software sampling resolution; default 24 × 24. Does not change room geometry. Only use a manufacturer profile valid in all azimuths; all sources share the entered specification and orientation. This assumption does not model coherent interference.
Open speakers toolMicrophone coverage
Manufacturer distance screening and geometric layout. No voice-lift, beamforming or intelligibility guarantee.
Confirm installation height, acoustic conditions and distance definition match.
Open microphones toolRack power & cooling
Equipment schedule and sensible energy balance. Electrical input and exported PoE/audio power have separate thermal boundaries.
Open rack toolRoom acoustics & RT60
Sabine T = 0.161 V / A in SI units. Requires suitable diffuse-field conditions; not a measured room response.
Statistical diffuse-field approximation. Enter net surfaces; subtract doors and windows from walls.
Open acoustics toolVC lighting planner
E = I cos(incidence) / d² and Emin/Eaverage. IES RP-38 thresholds are unavailable pending full verified guidance.
Intensity must describe the actual direction. No daylight or reflected-light contribution is assumed. Software sampling resolution; default 24 × 24. Does not change room geometry. Only use a manufacturer profile valid in all azimuths; all sources share the entered specification and orientation.
Open lighting toolStandards and reference status
Reference editions checked 23 October 2026. Full licensed standard methods, thresholds and reference cases have not been implemented. Standards-specific outputs remain marked Engineering Verification Required.
- ANSI/AVIXA V202.01:2026 — Display image size — official method unavailable
- AVIXA V201.01:2021 — Image-system contrast ratio — general photometry only
- ANSI/AVIXA A102.01:2022 / A104.01:2025 — Audio coverage / dynamic range — no on-site certification
- F502.02:2020 (R2023) / F502.01:2018 — Rack design and building — no assembly certification
- AVIXA S601.01:2021 — AV energy management — power totals are not a management audit
- ANSI/IES/AVIXA RP-38-17 (R2022) — VC lighting — thresholds and errata require verification
- EMSD Wiring Code 2025 — Electrical design requires qualified local verification
No AVIXA certification or approval is claimed. Local electrical design and protection coordination require a qualified professional.
